Service Agreement

Solar Solutions  understand how important back-up service is in the industry, so the expert service and interest doesn’t end with the installation of your new solar system! Solar Solution  maintain ongoing relationships with clients, long after the installation to ensure systems are reliably running correctly.

Solar Solutions Centre tailor a service contract to suit the individual requirements of your installation, and are priced from only $299 annually for a Residential system, or from $399 for a Commercial system.

A service contact will keep your solar system running at its optimum efficiency to produce the maximum amount of power. Any possible concerns or  issues are detected with regular maintenance before they potentially become larger problems, and servicing also protects you for product warranty conditions.

Stand-Alone Solar System
Yearly Services Maintenance Contract

Under this Yearly Maintenance Contract, the following services will be provided:
• Clean solar panels and check array frames are secure
• Check all wiring from the panels through to the inverter
• Check all cable ties and fixings
• Check roof isolators for signs of water egress and heat stress
• Check roof penetrations for signs of damage/deterioration
• Check and tighten all connections between the batteries and inverter/regulator/solar panel isolators and look for signs of heat stress
• Record data from the regulator
• Download data from the inverter
• Test and record cell voltages on the battery (12 – 24 to record)
• Check enclosure for signs of wasps or vermin
• Send brief report to customer of outcomes

Commercial Solar System
Yearly Maintenance Services Contract

Under this Yearly Maintenance Contract, the following services will be provided:
• Clean solar panels and check array frames are secure on the roof
• Check all wiring from the panels through to the inverter
• Check all cable ties and fixings
• Check roof isolators for signs of water egress and heat stress
• Check roof penetrations for signs of damage/deterioration
• Check isolators at the inverter for any signs of water egress and heat stress
• Record inverter data and pick up copies of the last 12 month’s power bills
• Send customer brief report on system performance and customer usage versus power back to grid

Regular Grid Connect or Battery-Backup Grid Connect System
Yearly Cleaning & Maintenance Contract

Under this yearly Cleaning and Maintenance Contract, the following services will be provided:
• Annual preventative maintenance and cleaning of solar panels
• Solar panels will be cleaned without chemicals to remove any dirt, mould or scum
• Array frame will be checked for sturdiness
• Debris will be removed from around those frames only
• Your isolator and cables will be checked for deterioration or damage, and any signs of water penetration or condensation
• The inverter operation will be checked
• Inverter readings will be collected and recorded

Any service requirements apart from the contract inclusions or any fresh work/assignment requested, will be charged for at an extra agreed rate.

Service and Maintenance Contract prices are on request and range from $299 for a Residential system, through to a Commercial Yearly Maintainance starting at $399 – all dependant on the size and scope of the solar system requirements.
